A few words about Ted Jr.:
As Director of Marketing for Bultaco (Cemoto East), as well as a former
racer, I got to know Ted Jr., when he was riding one of our Astro models in
the early 70's. I'd met his dad several years earlier, and Ted Jr. had the
same quiet, easygoing nature, but it masked his sincere desire to be a
champion.
Later, when I was P.R. Director for Harley-Davidson in the late 70's, I
again met Ted Jr., when he was a member of the factory racing team, and
getting closer to achieving his champion dream. Same story: a genuinely
nice, polite kid doing business in a very tough game. It's easy to
understand why he's so missed by so many.
